Journal History

At the request of the Selected Committee of Professors at the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, on December 29, 1998, a publication license with registration number 10352/124 was issued for the journal "Danesh va Tose'e" (Knowledge and Development) by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

The first issue of the journal was published in  1994.

In May 2004, the journal achieved scientific-research ranking from the National Scientific Publications Review Commission.

This journal published numerous articles in various fields, including Economics, Management, Accounting, Law, and Political Sciences.

After 15 years of publication, and in accordance with regulations allowing a new scientific journal to be established after every five years of publication, it was decided to restructure "Danesh va Tose'e" into three specialized scientific-research journals. This decision aimed to better address the broad range of disciplines within the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences. The three new journals are:

1. Regional Economics and Development (Semiannual), Dr. Mostafa Salimi Far as the editor-in-chief.
2. Monetary and Financial Economics (Semiannual), Dr. Mahmoud Houshmand as the editor-in-chief.
3. Encyclopedia of Economic Law (Semiannual), Dr. Abdolreza Javan Jafari as the editor-in-chief.

Open access policy

Encyclopedia of Economics law journal is an open access journal from the first issue that has been published. It means that all the content of the journal is free for users and institutes. They can download, copy, print, search, and link to full text of the manuscripts without any publisher or author permission. The journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the greater global exchange of knowledge.

Digital preservation policy

Website Archiving

The digital content of the journal is archived in 2 ways:

A PDF copy of all manuscripts is available online on the journal website for the readers. Another copy of that content is preserved as back-up in the server of the journal. If a problem occurs on the journal website that results in the loss of the manuscript, the backup copy can be quickly restored and the manuscript republished online on the journal website within 24-36 hours.

Moreover, PDF file of all issues are archived in the "Internet Archive"   , Portico &  Iran scientific Journals System to provide additional protection and long-term access.

Indexing & Archiving
The main information and abstracts of articles published in the Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal are indexed in various databases. The list of these databases can be found in the "Indexing & Abstracting" section.

Personal archive

All authors can archive their articles immediately after publication on the journal website, in their personal system or on their institution website.

Copyright

• Under the open access license of the Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal, authors retain copyright ownership of their content.
• Authors grant Ferdowsi University of Mashhad the license to publish the article and identify itself as the primary publisher.
• Authors also grant any third party the right to freely use the article, provided its integrity is maintained and the original authors, citation details, and publisher are clearly acknowledged.

The Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal operates under the international license Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Publication Ethics Policies

The Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to the Executive Regulations for the Prevention and Control of Academic Misconduct. [Journal COPE membership Link].

All editorial board members, reviewers, and authors are requested to review the Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal's Statement of Ethical Principles. In cases of issues such as plagiarism, citation manipulation, or data fabrication in submitted or published articles, they are encouraged to report the matter to the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Javan Jafari Bojnordi, via email at javan-j@um.ac.ir, or contact the publisher at fumpress@um.ac.ir. These matters will be addressed according to COPE flowcharts.

 Review Policy

In this journal, reviewers for articles are not selected from the editorial board members, except in exceptional cases where no external reviewers are available in the subject area of the article.

   Ownership and Management

This journal is established and managed by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, as clearly stated on the homepage of the journal website.

The editorial board members of this journal are distinguished individuals specializing in the subject areas that is mentioned in Aim & Scope.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

No fees are charged for submitting and initial review of articles. However, authors whose articles are accepted are required to pay 4,000,000 Rials to cover part of the editing and publication costs. This fee is collected at the time of article acceptance and must be paid by the corresponding author to the account specified on the journal website. The fee does not influence the editorial board's decision regarding the articles.

Discount Policy
The journal does not offer any discount policy.

Other Revenue
Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, as the publisher, covers the costs associated with launching and maintaining the journal's infrastructure, the review process, peer review, editing, typesetting, and archiving articles. These costs are supported by the defined budget allocated for each published issue, based on the journal ranking in the annual evaluation published on the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology's scientific journal portal.

Another financial source for the journal is the fee received from authors whose articles are accepted for publication. This income does not influence the editorial board's decisions.

Advertising
The journal does not accept any advertisements.

Plagiarism Detection System
The Encyclopedia of Economic Law journal uses the Hamyab system to check Persian texts and the iThenticate system to check the English abstracts of Persian articles, in order to prevent academic plagiarism. All articles are checked for similarity before being sent for peer review. If the similarity percentage exceeds 15%, the article will be excluded from the review process.

Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered on the journal website are used exclusively for the journal purposes. They are not accessible to other parties and will not be shared with any individual or organization.
